Reviews and Ratings
Staying here was a mixed bag of experiences for me. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and facing the lake, making it a great spot for family gatherings. However, the carpet was wet from a leaking air conditioner which was a bit bothersome. The service was top-notch, everyone from maintenance to housekeeping was extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal for my fishing tournament needs in Louisiana, offering beautiful views and easy accessibility. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet left much to be desired in terms of quality and variety. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room was not in the best condition, with dead gnats and evidence of a previous break-in, but it did come with essential amenities like air-conditioning and a private bathroom. The service was friendly but somewhat limited. The location, overlooking the golf course and water, was peaceful despite some issues reported by other guests. The dining experience fell short of expectations, with room for improvement in food quality. Overall, a mixed experience.
The hotel's location is truly stunning with beautiful surroundings and lakeview rooms available, making it a good choice for a stay in Louisiana. The service, especially by the porter, was exceptional despite some challenges faced due to an employee's absence. The dining experience was decent but a bit pricey for the amount of food offered. The rooms, however, were disappointing with high humidity levels affecting our clothes and a delay in readiness even past the official check-in time.
The hotel is in a super convenient location near where I needed to be for a fishing tournament. The rooms seemed a bit worn down and in need of updating, some were just stinky, but the golf suites were very spacious and comfy. The service was extremely polite and very kind, although some things had fallen through the cracks due to a management employee being off sick. The facilities were lovely and well maintained, ideal for a relaxing stay.
The hotel had a worn-down feel and was in need of updating, with a conference space and meeting rooms. My room only had a view of the rear car park and smelled like mold, pets, and general stinkiness. However, I will definitely opt for a balcony room next time.
I had a nice stay overall at the hotel. The rooms were big and nice, but the carpet was wet from a leaking air conditioner. The service was very helpful and accommodating, and the staff was awesome. The location was good for my needs, although the hotel needs some remodeling. The dining options were a bit expensive for what was offered. The facilities were generally satisfactory.
